"Costa del Sol, sustainable destination, responsible destination” is a project being carried out by companies and institutions involved in the tourism sector in the above-mentioned field. Led by the Costa del Sol Tourism Board, the objective is to transform and assess the value of the destination’s tourism resources taking into account the criteria of sustainability and social responsibility.
Based on the conviction that treating resources and acting in an environmentally friendly, socially fair and financially viable manner will enable us to position Costa del Sol as a benchmark destination for new generations, the cornerstone of this project is to “rediscover ourselves” through our own tourism resources and our own visitors from a more authentic, humane, respectful and responsible perspective.
