The arrival in Malaga of the High Speed Train AVE has represents a "huge" advance in communications for the Costa del Sol. The 2 h 15 min journey that links Madrid and Malaga constitutes a never ending traffic shuttle, especially useful for Meetings and Incentives.
The new Malaga Vialia Maria Zambrano station, centrally located and equipped with a large restaurant, shops and movie theatre area, has become the most important intermodal transportation axis in Spain, with a capacity to service more than 24 million passengers a year.
From this point, the incessant flow of High Speed trains, practically one every hour, from six in the morning until night time, allows Malaga to be connected with other cities such as Cordoba, Seville or Madrid. The link with Barcelona in a record time of 6h 30 min is also remarkable.
